It has been a privelege to be able to view the Temple on a daily basis, especially at different times as the colors change or the fog comes in, or at night.

We can't wait for the Gila Valley Temple to be completed.

Temple

We had two people from our Branch who were going through the Temple today. We had the opportunity to attend also. The one young lady is engaged to the returned missionary son of our Branch President.
It was a special treat to go through with her and with a gentleman who was baptized since we have been in the Branch. Slowly, our Branch is gaining more Priesthood holders.
We are going to miss our association with each of them.

Sometimes you just want to reach out and put your arms around the light of the Gospel, and then take that light and share it with others, so that they can feel the warmth and love of our Savior.

What a privilege it is to be in His service, and to see the lives of others change.

What an opportunity all of us have to be an example to others, so that they can see that we are not hiding our "light" under a basket, but rather we strive to embrace it, and live it, and share it.
We love you,

Time, where did it go?

It is hard to believe that our Mission is nearly finished. So many things to do and try to get finished. Our last day will be special as all departing missionaries will be a the mission home for lunch, then we go to the Temple for a session, then back to the mission home for dinner and then testimonies.

On Wednesday, parents will pick up their missionaries, some will be taken to the airport, and like us will try and finish packing everything, to get ready to leave.

We will miss our experiences here, but at the same time look forward to having time with our family and being able to hold our grandkids.

We get to speak in Church this coming Sunday, the 9th. We'll let you know how that goes.

Love to all of you, roy & patty
